Heaven on earth to sea glass lovers
If anyone loves sea glass as much as I do...Then this excursion will blow your mind!! The island is COVERED in sea glass....We had Rambo and Derrold as our tour guides and took very good care of us, while giving us space to do our thing ....The sunset was incredible!! Such a great experience 🙂
Great time
Great fun regardless of whether you collect sea glass. Fun kayaking, beautiful scenery, nice guides and just the right amount of time. And if you enjoy collecting sea glass, holy cow this is heaven on earth. The pictures don’t do it justice.
A hidden treasure in Aruba
This excursion is a must for anyone looking to have a unique experience in Aruba. Located in the southern part of the island it was a great opportunity to explore another area outside of Noord. Our guide was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable throughout the tour. The kayak ride was a good workout without being tiring and provided a great way to enjoy the water beyond the beach. Sea Glass Island was an endless treasure of unique finds and we walked away with wonderful memories, great pictures, and lots of sea glass!
Great short excursion for families. Very safe guide!
This was a unique excursion! So interesting to see the beach glass in such large quantities. Very cool to see the coral washed up on the island as well that has taken different forms. Phillip was a great guide, he was very attentive to our safety using the kayaks and was very kind. Great short excursion for a family looking for different levels of adventure. Thank you!
Sea Glass Island - A Must See!
This was our favorite part of our trip to Aruba. Never seen anything like it, sea glass as far as the eye can see and beautiful coral, rocks, mangroves, amazing scenery. 7 shades of blue water, and succulents everywhere. Beautiful!
Unique experience!
We kayaked to sea glass island on a windy day with an amazing guide, Darryl. The kayaking might have been challenging for someone who has never done it before, but we just paddled consistently, and hard, to make it across to the island- it does not take long and you get a view of the seaside of restaurants and accommodations on the way. It helped to be in a kayak for 2 people- fun and efficient. Sea glass island does not disappoint!!! And, you can take away as much glass as you want. Darryl offered a detailed history of the island and Aruba. There is some shade on the island, but it is very hot and windy while collecting your glass, be prepared! The company itself might be a tad disorganized? Paying in cash proved difficult as you must count on them to meet up with you at least 24 hrs ahead of time (we planned to meet and no one showed!). Also, they did not provide Darryl with the promised snacks for the trip. Things might go smoother when they have their shop up and running, and I hope so. This tour could get popular! Our group of 2 were the only ones. I highly recommend the tour, but suggest planning ahead .
Seaglass Fans!
We are from the Jersey Shore and it was like we were picking up GOLD!! We brought back several lbs w/out putting a dent on the island. Little challenging getting out there with the winds. Our transfer Clariza was awesome too!
Very nice island!
Very accessible via kayak, snorkeling! Wouldn’t recommend swimming without fins, the current is sometimes a bit much

The view from the glass isle was beautiful and we got more out of it than expected, great tour guide, snack and water included and took home some cool pieces of glass. We like to go mining at home, this felt like that plus the kayaking was really relaxing. Highly recommended!
Beautiful island. Kayaking was not easy but still fun
We met our guide Phillip, next to the flying fishbone. Very attentive and kind. Gave a brief overview on how to kayak. Life jackets, water, and packaged nuts were provided. There were a total of 4 tourists when I went. One person did a single kayak. The other three did double kayaks. Phillip stayed beside us the whole time. Getting to the island was hard work. It was very windy. We ended up getting out in the mangroves just short of the pier. We had to walk in the water and pull the kayak. Paddling up stream w the wind blowing toward us was a feat. It took about 15 minutes. Going back was much easier as we had the wind behind us. It took 5 minutes to return. The sun was starting to set as we returned. So it was a beautiful view and very fun experience. The island is lovely. Layers and layers of sea glass. Mostly white, green and brown. We found a small purple, red and blue. We stayed on the island about 60-90 minutes. It was the perfect amount of time. Definitely a 5 star experience but I wouldn’t recommend it for those who are not comfortable kayaking in the ocean.
